Alarm Email Notification

Purpose

Use this form to set up email notification of appropriate personnel when the following events occur:

Setting all System Alarm Status levels to "Yes" initially is recommended to ensure that all possible Alarm transitions generate an email. Later, you can experiment with different settings so that only the required alarm transitions generate email.

Select "Yes" to automatically send an email message when a system alarm occurs or increases in severity.

NOTE: This option does not apply to scheduled software upgrade events. Emails are sent when the events occur even if the option is disabled provided that at least one email address is entered in the field below.

Clear

Select "Yes" to send email whenever a System Alarm Status transitions to or from Cleared.

Minor

Select "Yes" to send email whenever the System Alarm Status is at the Minor level and when an alarm at another level (including Clear) transitions to or from Minor.

Select "Yes" to send email whenever the System Alarm Status is at the Major level, and when an alarm an another level (including Clear) transitions to or from Major or Minor.
